The tool's math — quadrant bearing to azimuth conversion, the shoelace area formula, and the closure error/precision ratio calculation — is documented in full on the How the Math Works page. If a plotted shape looks wrong, email us the exact calls you entered (quadrant, degrees/minutes/seconds, quadrant, distance, unit for each row) and we'll check them against the formulas directly.
Curved calls (arcs), chains/rods unit support, and multi-parcel plotting are on our radar — if one of those would help your use case, or you have another idea, email the address above. This is an actively maintained tool.
