Effective September 2026. DeedPlatMapper is a free tool with no server-side component at all. Every call you enter, the plotted shape, the perimeter/area/closure calculations, and the exported PNG are all generated and handled entirely by JavaScript running in your own browser — nothing about the boundary you plot is ever transmitted to us, because there is no backend for it to be sent to.
Basic, anonymous web-server access logs (the kind any web host generates automatically — IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser type) for security and abuse prevention. We do not currently run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site — no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no third-party cookies. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated to say so before it happens.
There is no account system, no login, and no database — the tool has nothing to store even if it wanted to. Every session starts fresh; nothing you enter persists between visits unless your own browser's local page state happens to still be loaded.
This site does not set any cookies of its own.
If this tool adds any feature that changes how data is handled — an account system, analytics, or anything that leaves your browser — this policy will be updated first, with the effective date above revised accordingly.
